Welcome to my personal webpage!

I am trade economist at International Trade Centre (ITC), an agency of the UN and WTO. We contribute to Sustainable Development Goals by improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and strengthening the integration of the business sector of developing countries into the global economy.

My role includes
production of ITC's yearly flagship publication “SME Competitiveness Outlook” and underlying empirical research and databases.

This page was created during my PhD in International Economics at the Graduate Institute, Geneva (IHEID) to share my research  on the effects and determinants of export taxes. My PhD supervisor is Professor Richard Baldwin at the Centre for Trade and Economic Integration (CTEI).

My primary
research
interests are firm-level trade and competitiveness, non-tariff measures and voluntary (private) standards.
